Trophy fees
Paid only for animals taken or wounded and lost. Oversized trophies — a kudu past the agreed class, a gold gemsbok — can carry a step-up. That step-up is named in the quote.

Not in these numbers: airfare, passport, tips, liquor beyond camp standard, dip-and-pack, trophy shipping, and U.S. taxidermy. The pre-trip Saturday or Sunday meeting is included. A seven-day custom list of four or five animals, plus flights from Indianapolis, shipping, and tips, often lands between $14,000 and $20,000 all-in.
